To recall the first time I took an interest
in what is now my career, you would have to
go back to when I was 3 years old and at a
Waffle House in Stone Mountain. Ga. I was
belting "I Will Always Love You" by the
great
Whitney Houston for a waitress who
asked me to sing. From that moment until now
I have been an entertainer, artist, and
performer.
In the years to come my family and friends
were forced to watch "shows" performed to a
plastic tape player that went with me
everywhere. I participated in very my first
karaoke contest and walked away the winner
at age 10....against young and old....and
that was the first of many accolades and
titles to win in the coming years
I have been very Blessed the last 7 or so
years to be allowed to perform all over the
Southeast and have had the honor of meeting
some amazing people. I love being on stage
no matter how big or small....people
appreciating what I do is so rewarding. I
have opened for
Rascal Flatts,
Josh Turner,
Aaron Tippin and several times for
Diana DeGarmo. I've made the top 100 out of
13,000 who auditioned in
Atlanta for season 7
American Idol. I spent an entire
summer on my own and got my fair share of
the "real world" when I was fortunate to be
the youngest member of the cast of High
Steppin' Country at Theater By The Sea in
Myrtle Beach, SC during the summer of
2007, and the list continues. I have also
defined my strength as a song writer through
composing a lot of originals that are in the
process of being recorded. My genre of
music is such a broad range with everything
from Broadway to country to oldies. I have
worked so hard to have the recognition I
have today and to have accomplished the
things I have. I know none of the things I
do would be possible without my Heavenly
Father who walks by my side through
everything I do. I enjoy what I do and put
forth an effort to be the best I can be.
Although to many I may be seen as a
youngster in the entertainment business.
But, I have had more memories, experiences
and strides in my career that I would never
take back. I believe in myself and have
goals and dreams that will be accomplished.
The future looks bright with this next
summer being spent doing 2 shows at
Six Flags Over GA. For that, I thank
my fans and family who have make this
possible. I look forward to seeing what else
this journey holds for me.
